We hope you enjoy the following slides that correspond with Cycle 2’s English Grammar memory work.
Remember the main goals are for the students to become familiar with the vocabulary, while memorizing core English Grammar components. This will help them gain the confidence to embrace later language studies, because they are familiar with the vocabulary and some basic information. Some slides contain “examples”. This is for the parent, tutor, or an older Foundations’ student to see how this English Grammar component can be applied. The examples are not exhaustive or detailed. Parents may choose to go into the level of detail they desire the students at home.
We, at Classical Conversations, believe strongly in learning and understanding language, so that students may be able to utilize it for the glory of God in all their communications. Conversely,
some of the most powerful forms
of communication are in what is not said. May the Lord grant you wisdom in teaching this difference to your students and the practical
implications of living these truths out.

The big picture…

Cycle 2 : Covers nouns, pronouns, adverbs, conjunctions, interjections, adjectives.
