Homeschool Counselor

Since 1996, Classical Conversations has been helping parents homeschool through high school by providing parent training and weekly seminars. Parents have informally helped one another through graduation ceremonies, college applications, and resume building. In 2013, Classical Conversations began to offer advice on these topics on-line so that many more parents could benefit from the wisdom of those who have successfully navigated those waters.

Linda Tomkinson, the Homeschool Counselor Senior Advisor, currently offers free monthly webinars to equip parents and encourage homeschooling throughout high school. Both parents and students are invited to join in these helpful discussions, ask questions, get answers, and share ideas along with others in the Classical Conversations community.

Gratitude Series

What is gratitude and how does our definition of it and its ramifications influence our daily life and homeschool? In our first meeting, we will see how gratitude has been viewed historically from ancient Rome to modern day including the interspersion of Christian thought. In our second meeting, we will discuss how gratitude works in our lives and our homeschool whether we acknowledge it or not. Join Linda Tomkinson, Senior Advisor for Homeschool Counselor, as we discuss how our views can transform our homes and our homeschools as well.

Please note this is a two part series and you will be registered for both sessions. Your input is valuable. Discussion is within first hour, then additional Q & A.
